# User Data Deletion Instructions — Maestro Threads Bot
**Operator contact:** [REPLACE WITH EMAIL]
## Option A — Disconnect Threads (stops API access)
1. Open the Threads app or website while logged into the connected account.
2. Go to **Settings → Account → Website permissions** (wording may vary).
3. Remove / revoke **Maestro Threads Bot** (or your Meta app name).
4. This invalidates the App’s ability to call Threads APIs with your token.
## Option B — Request deletion from the operator
Email [REPLACE WITH EMAIL] from an address that identifies your Threads username, with subject **Data deletion request**.
Within a reasonable period (target: 30 days) the operator will:
1. Delete or anonymize rows tied to your account in local databases (posts drafts, discussions, mentions, metrics, automation logs where applicable).
2. Remove `THREADS_ACCESS_TOKEN` / `THREADS_USER_ID` for your connection from the server environment if you were the connected user.
3. Confirm by email when done.
## Option C — Self-hosted operators
If you run the App yourself:
```text
# Stop the app, then remove local data as appropriate, for example:
# - Delete SQLite file configured in DATABASE_URL, or
# - DROP relevant tables / TRUNCATE discussions, mentions, posts, metrics, automation_logs
# - Clear THREADS_ACCESS_TOKEN and THREADS_USER_ID from .env
```
## Data that may remain
- Aggregated logs without identifiers
- Backups until rotated
- Content that remains on Threads itself (Meta’s platform) — delete those posts in Threads directly if needed
